The office is run by three partners with many years of experience in M&A:
Nico Swinnen
started his professional career at PWC and later on at Deloitte in external audit. During these years as external auditor, Nico specialized in consolidation and special missions. In 2000, he was recognized as ‘Chartered Accountant’ and took the pledge before the Chamber of Commerce. Later on, Nico has focused more and more on financial advice and corporate finance within the Deloitte Corporate Finance department where he was active as a manager.
Since 2003, Nico is active as a financial advisor and partner within Arphius Corporate. He coordinates M&A deals and recovery projects. He is also active as external director in the board of directors of other companies. Apart from his profession, he completed with great honours an International MBA at the Vlerick Management School in 2006.
Peter Birlouet
has 18 years of Corporate Finance experience and has been involved in around 50 M&A deals over the years. He is specialized as a Mergers & Acquisitions Broker with specialization in the "Eastern Europe" Middle Market.
Andreas van de Voort
M&A specialist, negotiator with a broad experience and education which equals broad views & solutions. Andreas has 25 years experience in corporate finance as portfolio manager and strategic investor, as negotiator and dealmaker.
His specialities are finding potential M&A targets for clients, preparation and description of clients competences with a view on business combinations, setting up a framework for negotiating, attracting and coordinating specialists to support the clients position, reporting towards authorities and banks, capital search through contacts with business angels, VC’s and banks, independent director respecting Corporate Governance principles.
