JACOB THERKELSEN

PRESIDENT (Copenhagen, Denmark)

Mr. Therkelsen has more than 20 years of professional advisory experience and he has specialised in corporate finance and M&A since 1998. He has a broad range of experience from audit, transaction service, M&A and capital markets advisory. He has led numerous transactions on both the buy-side and sell-side involving public and private companies, private equity and structured debt finance, restructuring and accelerated M&A. Before founding Consilio Partners, he worked 18 years with Deloitte as manager and Corporate Finance partner. He holds an Executive MBA (Hons), a B.Com in banking and finance and a B.Com in financial and management accounting from Copenhagen Business School.

VICE-PRESIDENT (Dusseldorf, Germany)

Mr. Goll is Managing Partner of euroMerger’s German member, Industrie Consult International M&A GmbH, an internationally operating M&A management consulting company which he founded in 1991. He started his business career as a banker at Bayerische Vereinsbank and acted in an advisory capacity to both medium-sized businesses and big international groups of companies. After that he joined Banque Paribas, he built up the banks German and international M&A business and became the sectors Managing Director. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Siegen.
ARNAUD GOOSSENS

ARNAUD GOOSSENS

VICE-PRESIDENT (Brussels, Belgium)

Arnaud has been working at Merodis since October 2016. Previously, he was an equity analyst at Exane BNP Paribas (Brussels), ING (Brussels), ABN AMRO (Brussels and Paris), SBC Warburg (now UBS) and Williams de Broë (both in London). His equity research career, with a focus on Belgian small and mid caps, spanned from 1994 to 2013 with management roles at ING and Exane. Arnaud also teaches Equity Valuation to Master 2 students at ICHEC Brussels Management School/Louvain School of Management. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the Louvain School of Management.
